LOCATION

Located on the hillsides over looking Vernon BC

The BX Area

The BX adjoins the eastern edge of Vernon and is named after the former 6300 acre BX Ranch that operated in the area from 1864 to approx 1906.  Express ponies were raised here for the Barnard Express (BX) stage coach run from the Okanagan to the Cariboo which was the largest freighting company in B.C. at the time.

Over 50kms of hiking trails wrap around the edge of the property.  Follow the Grey Canal Trail to BX Creek and the waterfall or through the nearby Silver Star Foothills.

Bike along country roads through the orchards, or visit nearby Silver Star Provincial Park for trails, mountain biking, skiing etc.

Vernon, shops, the lakes, beaches and many more parks are in the view and only minutes away.
