EVENTS VENUE

 You can now book your event at Curlew Orchard, an organic apple orchard in the BX farmlands area of Vernon BC.  The 20-acre farm overlooks the hills and lakes of the North Okanagan, borders 50kms of walking trails and is a short drive from downtown Vernon and Silver Star Mtn. Resort.  

 

The pioneer farmyard features a guest-house and cabin near a rustic apple packinghouse that offers shelter for the event.  The flat wide open space around the packing-house is perfect for setting up a marquee tent or two and the nearby grove of apple trees is another ideal setting for a long-table dinner, yoga, pilates or relaxing in the shade. 

Packing House

The rustic packinghouse in the farmyard suits a variety of uses such as a long-table dinner for approximately 50 people, a dance floor, yoga/pilates sessions, artisan workshops, markets or meeting space. Water and electricity are available.

Pioneer Farmyard

The pioneer farmyard is a wide open space between the Spartan House, Mac Shack and Packing House, great for long-table dinners, setting up a marquee tent or two for your event, workshop, wide games with family and friends, etc.

Event booking requires booking 3 NIGHTS of ACCOMMODATIONS on Airbnb or VRBO with EVENT ON 2ND DAY.

Non-refundable deposit for venue sent to Curlew Orchard at time of booking. Accommodations booked online based on availability.  Final payment for event venue due and payable 30 days prior to check in.

Gatherings

up to 60 people - Venue Only

• Spartan House sleeps 8 people and Gala House sleeps 6.

• Mac Shack - Sleeping 2 People

• Use of Pool for registered guests

• Packing house with long table seating apprx. 30 people,      refrigerator and wash-up sinks. 

• 2 porta potties hired for event

• Parking is available for 30 vehicles, access via Malim road     and preferred exit on Dixon Dam road.

• House, cabin access is restricted to registered guests

Expectations on the property

Events booked directly thru Curlew Orchard.  Full-venue based on cabin & house availability at time of event.
Full venue event permitted between noon to 10pm on second day of rental.
Only registered guests permitted on site except for during event hours. 
Event take down must be completed by arranged time following the event.
Guests not to approach fence line bordering horse pasture/riding ring for safety of guests and the horses.
Only one dog may receive approval to be on the property.
Any lighting for event to be directed downward and installed so as not to disturb neighbours.
Music is to be shut off prior to wrap up and visitors depart property by designated time.
Clean up completed within an hour following day event or by 11AM of the day following a full-venue event.
We ask that your event leave a small footprint by separating and gathering all your recyclables and garbage into designated containers. 
Parking is available on property for up to 30 vehicles, access via Malim road and exit on Dixon Dam road.
